Who is responsible

The game is run by Agent Zero game team, Hungary. For any question about your data write to legal@agentzerogame.com.

What we collect

• Account: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash), plus the profile choices you make such as avatar and map icon.
• Game data: the games you join, your team, scores, level and experience, the abilities your team used, claims, answers and the photos you send as answers or proof in a game.
• Location: while a game is running the app sends your phone's position so that your team and the game rules can work. You can stop this at any time by closing the game or turning off location access.
• Technical data: the cookies described on the cookie page, and your IP address in server logs and for protection against abuse, for a short time.
• Messages to us: the issues and feedback you send from the app or the website, with the device, app version and game you choose to attach, and our answers.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers and we do not sell your data.

Why and on what basis

• To create your account and run the games you play: performance of the contract with you.
• To use your location during a game: your consent, given when you allow location access on your phone. Without it the game cannot work.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest.

Who sees what

Your live position is only shown to your own team. Other teams never see it, except when the host turns on one of the options that shows the Trackers to the Ghosts with a delay, or lets the seeking teams share their positions; the game makes it visible when that is on. Photos you send in a game are visible to the players involved in it. Other players see your name and your results in games you played together.

How long we keep it

• Live positions are only held in memory while the game runs and are deleted when it ends.
• Photos sent during a game are deleted when the game ends.
• Places stored with a game (hiding spots, claim positions and positions in ability results) are wiped 30 days after the game ended.
• Account and match history stay until you delete your account. The issues and feedback you sent are deleted with the account.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent for location at any time. You can change your name, email and password on your profile and delete your account there: your name, email and password are removed, and finished matches stay in the other players' history without any personal details. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country.

Service providers and transfers

The game runs on servers we operate. The app loads map tiles from a map provider, which can see your IP address and the area you look at, as with any online map. We do not pass your data to anyone else unless the law requires it.

Children

You must be at least 16 to create an account, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or on this page. The date above shows the latest version.
